Adding Domain Safe

Our Advanced Security product offers Whois Privacy, a secure domain lock, and an SSL Certificate via Encryption Everywhere. To read more about the product please refer to this Knowledge Base article.

To add our Advanced Security product, please follow these simple steps:

1. Log into your name.com account.
2. From the top menu, click My Domains link to the top right of the navigation.
3. Here you will find a list of all the domains in your account. Locate the domain name you would like to add Advanced Security for and click the Get Whois Privacy link in the Whois Privacy column.
4. The product is now in your cart and you can proceed to checkout by clicking the In Cart Button or by clicking on the Cart.

Note: Not all TLDs allow you to use Advanced Security. See the full list of TLDs that do not support Whois Privacy.

To add or upgrade to Domain Safe Pro, please follow these simple steps:

1. Log into your name.com account.

2. From the top menu, click the My Domains link in the top-right navigation.

3. You will see a list of all domains in your account. Locate the domain name you want to upgrade.

4. Look at the Security column:

   • If your domain already have Domain Safe, you will see a bubble that says "Upgrade to Domain Safe Pro".

   • Click either Get Domain Safe or the Upgrade to Domain Safe Pro link.

5. The product is now in your cart. Proceed to checkout by clicking the In Cart button or by clicking on your Cart.

Note: Not all TLDs allow you to use standard domain privacy; TLDs that do not support Whois Privacy.
